Welcome to WYS Lacrosse's home on the web!

The Arapahoe Youth League (AYL) is the Premier Competitive Youth Sports League in the Denver Metro area. We offer competitive league play for all levels of talent from age 6  until high school.  Warriors Youth Sports is a member club of the AYL.  For nearly 50 years Warriors Youth Sports has provided the community with the best in youth sports.

Speed & Agility Training with Coach Spangler!

Warriors Youth Sports is excited to be partnering with the

Denver Outlaws Strength and Conditioning coach 

Chris Spangler!

 

Coach Spangler is offering all youth athletes in the Warriors program a professional level conditioning program this fall!  Whether you are in season or preparing for an upcoming season, this 4 week small group session will get you improving your speed and power, enhancing your agility, focusing on your coordination, refining your body movements and so much more!

 

Fall Speed & Agility Training 

with Coach Spangler

Session I

 

When:  Sunday, Sept 16, Sept 23, Sept 30, Oct 7

 

Where:  Highlands Heritage Regional Park
Field F

9651 S Quebec St, Highlands Ranch, CO 80130

 

Time:  3rd - 5th Grade 10:15am - 11:15am

               6th - 8th Grade - 11:30am - 12:30 pm

           K - 2nd Grade - 12:45pm - 1:45 PM

 

What: Training is focused on improving youth speed,

explosiveness and conditioning

 

Cost - $175 for the 4 week session

*includes a 30 day membership to Coach Spangler’s Train Heroic Youth Training Program

When:  Sunday, Oct 14th, Oct 28th, Nov 4th & Nov 11th

 

Where:  Warriors Fieldhouse

Time:  K- 2nd Grade - 9am - 10am

                        3rd - 5th Grade 10:15am - 11:15am

                           6th - 8th Grade - 11:30am - 12:30 pm

 

What: Training is focused on improving youth speed,

explosiveness and conditioning

Typical Daily Schedule 

 

Warm up: Dynamic Warm Up 0-:10 minutes
 

Mobility: Stretching and improved flexibility :15-:20 min

 

Skill Work: Agility and plyometric work :20-:30 min

 

Strength: Body weight exercises such as walking lunges, push-ups :30-:35 min

 

Workout of the Day: Cone work, obstacle course, various game scenarios :35-:45 min

 

Game Play: The last 15-20 minutes will be dedicated to various games to reinforce the newly learned skills. :45-:60 min 

 

 

Players should wear comfortable athletic clothing, cleats are recommend
